Ladies Quran Class at Arrahman Arraheem

Arrahman-Arraheem.com is a popular website. Babar R. Chaudhry founded this website in the 1990s. The purpose of the website is to spread the true message of Islam. With this focus in mind Quran study classes are held children, families and especially for women. Every Thursday a Quran class for Ladies is held by Arrahman-Arraheem.com. Classes are held in a big hall reserved for Quran study sessions.

Importance of a Ladies Quran Class:

The role of a woman is one of most importance in an Islamic society. Even the women in history played a great role in Islam. Our Beloved Prophet (P.B.U.H) always treated the women kindly. He would give shelter to women and made sure that they were given their rights.

By nature a women wants family and peace. Allah has made woman fragile so she must be handled with care. It is her responsibility to raise the next generation. It does not matter if she is a teacher, mother, or wife. Whatever role she plays affects the lives and personality of the people around her. 

Her greatest weapon of support is knowledge. In Islam women are encouraged to gain knowledge as much as the men. In order to play her role effectively, she must gain knowledge of both the world and her religion.

Free of cost - no charges or fees:

The best part of the class is that it is free of cost. Arrahman Arraheem Network does not charge and fees for the Ladies Quran class. Or for any of their other classes. The class is run by volunteers and costs are paid from their own pockets. 

The students attending the class are welcomed warmly. The rich and the poor are equal in the sight of Allah (S.W.T). Ladies from any religion can also attend class. It is an open platform and everyone is free to ask any questions they want. 

Regarding Islam or womens rights or any other issue, that they are facing. Ladies attending the class are very comfortable with the atmosphere of the class. Everyone is given chance to take part and share their feelings.

Some of the topics discussed in the Ladies Quran class are

• How we can be peaceful in our lives.

• How to be Thankful
• How to develop patience

• Controlling our anger and emotions

• Being honest and speaking the truth

• How we can be a good believer 
• How we can be a good wife

 The class usually starts with a question & answer session that leads to the discussion of a topic. A short session of memorization and recitation of the ayat (verse) of the week follows the topic. A short study session of the Ahadith of the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) concludes the class.

Every week on a Thursday afternoon teacher, Sana Ehtesham mostly conducts the Ladies Quran class at Arrahman Arraheem. She has been a long time student of Babar Chaudhry. Women of all ages attend these Quran study classes. 

The purpose of this Ladies class is:

• Sharing knowledge of Quran and Ahadith which are the sayings of The Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H)

• Applying the instructions of Allah (S.W.T) in our life.

• Character building

• Learning verses of Quran

• Building confidence

• Making a strong relationship of trust in Allah (S.W.T).

• Being aware of women’s rights according to the Holy Quran.

The aim of the Ladies Quran class

 Women are the backbone of a society. She needs proper guidance to take important decisions of her life. The aim of the Ladies Quran class is character building. 

Mrs. Sana Ehtesham from Arrahman Arraheem, Quran class welcomes women from every lifestyle. There is no restriction of age, cast, religion or sect. 

Many non-muslim ladies have accepted Islam in this class. The class has given confidence and a ray of hope to many women. 

Especially for teenagers, school and college aged girls. It has given them a new meaning in life. They know their goal better now. Their goal in life is to get the love of Allah (S.W.T) and to become better human. 

These women enjoy the blessings of God (Allah) in their lives. Their relationships have become stronger. They are happy and content with what they are been given by God Almighty. They have realized how to be satisfied and live comfortably with their lives

Becoming aware of Women’s Rights according to the Holy Quran.

Islam is very strict about giving women their due rights. In our society majority of the women are unaware of their rights. It is very important for a Muslim woman to know her rights as well as her boundaries.

The character and behavior of a Muslim woman:

The Ladies class focuses on building the character of an ideal Muslim woman.

Through the verses of the Holy Quran and the Ahadith of the last Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) several basic disciplines are discussed.
Emotional stability is one thing Sana Ehtesham focus on.

 

Hijaab:

The topic of Hijaab and modesty covers many areas. According to Islam the way a woman should behave in society helps to cut down on crimes against women. Her dress code should follow the criteria outlined by the verses of Allah (SWT) in the Holy Quran. 

Her speech and choice of words should be gentle and soft. Her words should be to the point and without gossip or backbiting. They way she behaves at home and in public affect her relationships. 

Anger management:

The Ladies class is very good for the women who have anger issues. Because we are unable to control our anger and emotions, our relationships suffer the most. Anger is the most dangerous of emotions. 

It makes us forget our boundaries and cross our limits. Anger destroys relationships. It leads to a break down in communication. Some even get divorce because of this emotion. The women who show their anger in a bad way are often abused in our society.

With help from the verses of the Holy Quran many women have learned to control their anger. They learn the wisdom of choosing their words carefully from this class. They have learned to be patient. They know how to be cool minded when they are angry. They know how to handle anger. 

They know not to speak loud when they angry. They know when to let go and when to confront an issue. They calm themselves with the verses of Allah (S.W.T). They know how to sort out a difficult situation in a peaceful way. 

They know how to forgive and forget. Many of the women who have joined this class have been able to make positive changes in their lives.

Living a thankful life:

Arrahman Arraheem Network’s Ladies Quran class teaches us how to be thankful. The ladies attending the class learn how to happy with their lives. They have learned to be thankful to God for every blessing that they enjoy. 

Health, time, family, food, work, wealth. It does not matter is it is a lot or less. Instead of complaining about things not being enough, they thank God for whatever they have.  

The importance of being a Muslim mother:

With the instructions of Allah (S.W.T) and the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) the ladies learn how to be the ideal mother. The upbringing of children becomes easier. Because there is guidance available to them, every step of the way. 

The role of a mother is the most important in a family set up. She is her child’s first teacher. Children learn a lot by example. The mother’s behavior is the first thing that a child copies. If she is soft spoken and treats people with respect, the child will do the same. 

If she will be strong, her child will also be strong. She is responsible for disciplining her child and teaching him to respect his parents and elders. A mother teaches her child the difference between right and wrong. She teaches her child manners and the basic teachings of Islam. It is her duty to guide her family on the path of Allah (S.W.T).

 

Unfortunate events:

All women learn in the class how to trust in God only. Moral support and guidance on how to handle personal matters is given. They learn how their problems how can be overcome with the instructions of Allah (S.W.T). 

They learn how to be patient and how to control their emotions. A single mother has to act as a father too. Learning the verses of Allah (S.W.T) from the Quran can give her strength and wisdom. 

With the help of Allah (S.W.T), a women can learn how to tackle the difficult situations of her life. She knows how to handle her children in society. She also teaches her children how to cope without a father in their life. 

For children and teenagers:

Nowadays peer pressure is on the rise, and teenagers need guidance and wisdom to make good and positive decisions in their lives. Girls especially face the hardest of challenges. The Ladies Quran class is the ideal place for teenage girls. 


Many of the issues they face are discussed on a regular basis as there is a large attendance of teenage girls at the Arrahman Arraheem Ladies Quran Class. Through the instructions of Allah (S.W.T) and the last Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) they learn to deal with many of the issues that they face.

• Handling peer pressure in today’s society.

• How they can protect themselves and their rights as women.

• Positive and constructive decision-making.

• Avoiding distractions and focusing on their education and goals.

• Making the right career choice for themselves as the youth.

Sana Ehtesham in the Ladies class, helps women to build confidence by giving them hope. 
Hope that Allah is there and He can help us and guide us.These young girls are given a chance to speak their minds. 

Express their feelings openly without fear. Also share their fears. 
They have become good speakers. They know about their religion Islam and have a clear picture of Islam. 

They know their boundaries and what is allowed or not allowed.

A place for women to learn and talk freely about their problems is very much need of the hour today.
